How to take measurements for VOE garments

Choosing the correct size is essential to ensure an optimal fit and a proper recovery after surgery.

Measurements should be taken before surgery, following the specialist's instructions and the measurement chart found with each product.

Procedure for taking measures

- Use a flexible measuring tape.
- Measure while wearing underwear or tight-fitting clothes for accurate results.
- Consult the size chart available for each product, where the necessary measurements and the correct method for taking them are specified.

Standard measures

Girdles: Waist and hip circumference.

Bras: In the case of breast surgeries, consult with the doctor about the post-operative size.

  • Chest and inframammary circumference.

Other: Specific measurements indicated in the Measurement Table for each product.

Availability of measurement tables and guides

Each VOE product includes a size chart that specifies the necessary measurements and provides detailed instructions for taking each one. It is recommended to review these charts before making your purchase and, if you have any questions, consult the explanatory video available .

Use of a second garment and adjustment in the postoperative period

Using a second garment allows you to change it while the first one is being cleaned and also facilitates daily hygiene. It is recommended to have at least two sets of garments during the initial recovery period to maintain adequate compression and cleanliness at all times.

In situations where significant volume loss or swelling occurs over time, it is advisable to start with the indicated size and then switch to a smaller size as the body molds and adjusts. This practice helps maintain effective compression without excessive discomfort and facilitates the patient's gradual adaptation.

General recommendations

  • Double-check each measurement to ensure accuracy.
  • Consult with a professional first, and if necessary, with our customer service department, if the measurement falls between two sizes.
  • A proper fit improves comfort and contributes to the postoperative recovery process.
  • We have hook extenders for girdles and bras that allow you to increase the perimeter of the garment.

Refund Policy and Terms

For hygiene and safety reasons, underwear is non-refundable if the seal has been broken or the garment has been worn. We recommend reviewing the refund policy before making your purchase.
