Choosing the correct size
Procedure for taking measures
- Use a flexible measuring tape.
- Measure while wearing underwear or tight-fitting clothing for accurate results.
- Consult the size chart available for each product, where the necessary measurements and the correct method for taking them are specified.
Standard measures
Girdles
- Waist and hip circumference.
Bras
In the case of breast surgeries, consult with the doctor about the postoperative size.
- Chest and inframammary circumference.
Other measures
Specific measurements are indicated in the Measurement Table for each product.
Availability of measurement tables and guides
- Each VOE product includes a size chart that specifies the necessary measurements and provides detailed instructions for taking each one.
- If your measurements fall between two sizes, use the appropriate extender for that garment to adjust the fit gradually. Choose the smaller size that feels comfortable, as the extender will increase the circumference.
- It is recommended to review these tables before making the purchase and, if in doubt, consult the explanatory video available.
Use of a second garment and adjustment in the postoperative period
- Wearing a second garment allows you to change it while the first one is being cleaned and also makes daily hygiene easier.
- It is recommended to have at least two sets of garments during the initial recovery period to maintain adequate compression and cleanliness.
- In cases of significant fat or volume removal, as well as in the event of rapid reduction of swelling, we recommend taking personal measurements again throughout the recovery process.
- Every body evolves differently, so you can choose to update your chosen size or switch to a second-stage VOE Slim model as your new figure requires.
- This practice helps maintain effective compression without excessive discomfort and facilitates the patient's gradual adaptation
General recommendations
- Double-check each measurement to ensure accuracy.
- Consult with a professional first, and if necessary, with our customer service department, if the measurement falls between two sizes.
- We have hook extenders for girdles and bras that allow the garment's perimeter to be increased.
- A proper fit improves comfort and contributes to the postoperative recovery process.
